Alix Stockwell is the Development Officer, who also started in April 2019.
Alastair Reid took over as TISCA General Secretary in April 2019. He has been a TISCA member since its inception in 1995 and in recent years has been a Trustee and the Chair of the General Purposes Committee.
Alastair was born and brought up in West Africa and went to boarding school in Scotland. He read for a History degree at Cambridge where he also studied for his PGCE. Teaching posts have included Red House Prep School, York (Gap year); Bedford School (History and English teacher); Glenalmond College, Perthshire (Head of History and Boarding Housemaster); Dean Close School, Cheltenham (Deputy Head); Hebron School, India (Principal); and Ballard School, New Milton (Headmaster).
Alastair enjoys sport (especially hockey and golf), spending time with his family and grandchildren, tropical fish keeping, gardening and visiting National Trust properties. He is married to Rosalyn and has three married children and four grandchildren.
Alastair became a Christian at the age of 13 years at a Crusader camp in Studland Bay, Dorset, helped with Scripture Union camps in Scotland and Rempstone Adventure Camp in Dorset, and has continued to support Christian camps and house parties for young people. In recent years he has helped out at Rekonnect camps for young people who are relocating with their parents to the UK after many years of serving abroad.

Alix has joined TISCA with a background in prison education, education management, marketing and publicity. Her recent work included schools’ marketing, communications and social media.
