Dear TISCA Members,

You are warmly invited to the 2020 Windlesham Leadership Conference. This is an ideal opportunity for teachers and leaders to reflect on transformational education and how we enable our young people to thrive and become the next generation of purposeful leaders. We have an exciting line-up of inspiring speakers, pioneering initiatives and award-winning organisations that are transforming lives across the UK and around the world.

We are thrilled that this event will be introduced by Lord Michael Hastings CBE, a global ambassador for One Young World, connecting the world’s most extraordinary young leaders driving social change and WE Schools, engaging teachers and pupils as agents of change in over 18,000 schools. Lord Hastings will speak on a life-transforming education and how we can future-proof our young people with game-changing skills and leadership qualities.

Elke Edwards, Founder of Ivy House, is an award-winning expert in leadership development. Having worked across 37 countries with over 40% of the FTSE 100, she believes that leadership is a Life Skill that needs to be taught early. Using over 20 years’ experience of coaching global CEOs, Elke and her team have created The Ivy House Award which is the first programme of this kind in the UK. The Award provides young people with the kind of high-quality development previously reserved for the most senior executives. It is running in a number of leading schools and the feedback has been excellent. In her dynamic and thought provoking talk, Elke will cover the exact skills and qualities that global employers are looking for and how we can develop them in our young people.

Jon Harper, Future Foundations CEO will speak on the Global Social Leaders initiative which has empowered young people in over 100 nations with skills and leadership experiences as a movement for change in support of the UN Global Goals. Future Foundations is a leading provider of personal and academic development. Alistair Bullen, Founder of ABA, will lead the final session on how we build a highly-effective transformational school culture. Alistair led on branding for the London Olympics and has a superb track record with helping schools develop their vision, values, culture, communication and leadership.

Benefits include access to innovative approaches that help schools and young people to thrive and effective resources to support schools with inspection evidence for SMSC. It is also an excellent opportunity to share ideas and best practice and make new connections. The day includes a networking lunch from 1.30-2.00pm.

The cost is £150 and places are limited. Further details will be sent after a place is booked. To reserve a place please email

It promises to be an extremely valuable day and we would be delighted if your school can attend.

Very best wishes,

Justin Blake
