The King’s School, Witney is an independent Christian school (Early Years to GCSE’s)
This is an exciting opportunity to lead a successful Christian independent school. The school has a track record of helping children develop in their understanding of God and relationship with Him and of achieving high academic standards and. It has been run for 35 years by Oxfordshire Community Churches.
The King’s School provides early years, primary and secondary education (3-16 years old) to approximately 160 pupils. We are looking for a leader who can take the school forward into a new phase of development. The successful candidate will be a visionary and strategic leader. They will be able to build upon the successes of the past, maintaining the distinctively Christian culture and ethos of the school. They will be responsible for the development of this provision, both academically, spiritually and pastorally seeking growth in pupil numbers, new community engagement and a
significant missional outlook for the school. It is therefore a genuine and determining occupational requirement that the job-holder must be a committed Christian, and willing to work with others in the context of Oxfordshire Community Churches.

Salary: £42,000- £48,000 (5% pension contribution, discounts and support for school
fees may also be available)
