This is our Bulletin, published three times a year, in September, February and May. The latest issue (No. 73) is being printed at present: we hope to mail out the copies early in September. If your mailing address has changed, or if you know of others who would like to receive TISCA News and Views, please let me know so that we can address the envelopes properly. Some of you have already informed us that you would like to receive your copy of TNV electronically, and we shall send it to you in that medium. If any of you would like to change category (i.e. from paper to electronic or, indeed vice versa) please let us know and we shall endeavour to comply with your wishes. And if we get your preference wrong, please forgive us.
In whatever format you read it, I hope you will find this a useful edition of TNV. It contains two articles, by Richard Backhouse and Sarah Griffiths, arising from our London June Meeting when the topic was Mental Health, Wellbeing and Resilience in school pupils. Among other articles is another in our series “Featuring” particular TISCA members and giving them the opportunity to share a bit about their work and why they find it stimulating. Look out also for the normal reviews of books and resources for schools, as well as an article by the late Michael Coates written eight years ago for the IAPS Magazine about the privilege of serving others through education.
